I'm Glen, East London based, and looking to offer services in Future-Ready Web Development.
In 2023, having previously achieved a level 3 certificate in Web Design & Development, I completed a government-funded software development bootcamp with JustIT, a London-based training provider. This 12-week remote training course took diverse cohorts through the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL (for relational database interaction), and Python. It included the completion of a Web & Javascript Project, a Python & Database Project, and some Relational Database Assignment work.
Subsequently, I undertook further self-learning using various resources, taking a firm step in a Typescript/React direction. Subsequently, since September 2024, I have undertaken several freelance projects, adding these to my portfolio. These have included front-end development and copy editing for several e-learning courses, documentation, and development/test deployment of a content-driven website.
In early 2025, I resolved to make AI more central to my development journey. I embarked on an online course with the online community 'Switch Dimension', gaining knowledge in AI-assisted web development (a balance of strategic use of AI coding agents and manual coding to build websites and web apps). Subsequently, I participated in an online 5-day Intensive AI Agents course with Google and Kaggle (data science and machine learning platform).
Moving forward, I'm in the process of launching 'WebWeaver Nexus', a personal AI-ready Web Development service. This will specialise in developing the following for clients:
With the increasing onset of agentic AI, and the resulting changing landscape of web development, it's the combination of both (sometimes referred to as the 'agentic web'), along with the potential benefits for the digital presence of small businesses which will be where WebWeaver Nexus seeks to bring value.
My other main creative/technical passion is music, especially composition and production. I live with my wife in East London. While I'm a country guy at heart, I find a different kind of value and engagement in living so near to our capital with its amazing diversity of people and culture.

This full-stack web app project was undertaken in conjuction with an online community course: 'Build With AI - AI Native Developer' with 'Switch Dimension'. 'Multicast' is an MVP for a Micro-SaaS (Software as a Service) platform. The core idea is for authenticated users to connect their social media accounts and create templates and AI-generated posts for saving, scheduling, and publishing. It has been developed using Next.JS (React full-stack web framework), Tailwind CSS, Prisma (Object Relational Mapping framework), Supabase (cloud-based PostgreSQL relational database management system) and Clerk (user management and authentication platform).
This freelance project involved the development and test deployment of a content-driven website for a learning design & media production studio, using Next.JS, Tailwind CSS, and occasional, appropriate AI tools to aid mainly manual development. This was carried out mindfully with respect to company data and followed up by an instructive handover of website files to the client for their own final design customisations.
This freelance project consisted of building 2 interactive e-learning courses using the Adapt Authoring tool (backed up by the Adapt Framework). They were produced in collaboration with 'Visualflow' Media Content & Learning Design, based in East London, for the NHS via UWE Bristol University. Work incorporated content implementation, configuration of SCORM tracking for learners/related settings, and CSS coding for responsive layout design. The course package for 'Intercultural Communication' is hosted on the NHS learning hub, where sign-up for a basic (free) account is required in order to view content. Upon login, click "Play elearning resource". The 'Implicit Bias' course is viewable via a demo version.
Completed on the Software Development Bootcamp. This project features a basic quiz on the World Wide Web, providing a foundation for further learning on Web topics. This single page application was coded in HTML and CSS for the aesthetics, and Vanilla Javascript for the programme. It incorporates manipulation of DOM elements with a responsive outcome through a range of screen widths.
Completed with Zero To Mastery Academy online as part of their "Complete Web Developer in 2023" course. This is a Single Page Application using React (a Javascript Front End Library), making use of Components with State and Props. The idea for the user is to enter text into the searchbox in order to find a Robot User by name, from the selection.
Completed on the Software Development Bootcamp. Created for a Database Assignment using the MySQL Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), this is an SQL (Structured Query Language) program complemented by a viewable diagram. The diagram shows the schema created and queried by most of the SQL code. In terms of theme, the created relational database is for a fictional Hired Car Breakdown company.
Completed on the Software Development Bootcamp. The aim of this project was to code a Python programme to connect to a database enabling interactive CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations. Featured here is the python code for a CLI (Command Line Interface) software application hosted on Replit, a browser based Integrated Development Environment. When run, the application allows a user to perform CRUD operations with a movie-themed database. The code includes embedded SQL syntax for data manipulation using the SQLite RDBMS (Relational Database Management System).
Previously completed independently while learning to code in HTML and CSS, this project ties into my other personal creative/technical passion, music production. This multipage front-end website utilises some use of Sass, a CSS preprocessor, mainly for practice with variables and mixins, and for code efficiency purposes. The site acts as a portal to feature or reference my own recorded music projects.
